If I had to choose one digital learning community, or DLC, Moodle would be my choice. Moodle offers a wide variety of tools necessary for online learning. Being able to post content, create assignments, communicate grades, and interact with the students is very enticing. The site is also user friendly and is generally pretty quick to learn to navigate. The site is an "one stop show" for educators to work with their students. Joining a DLC can be made more appealing to students by trained educators on the software/online platform. Students respond well to a guided introduction to new programs.
